I signed the letter “OFF THE PIGS” to see if that would be censored.
The phrase was popular at the time and referred to police, but it was not a phrase I ever used.

This is only the second letter I’ve been able to write since I was arrested. (The first went to my parents.) I’m still looking forward to having visitors.The first visiting period will be tonight and I don’t know yet if I will be allowed any. Future visiting days are every other day starting Thursday, the 19th. The visiting time is 7pm and I’m only allowed one visitor each day. I was blindfolded coming here (and still am often) but I think the prison is in Stanford’s Jordan Hall. All of you are welcome if you want to come. I’m running out of time and space so I would like to ask either Doug or Curt to call Mary and tell her the visiting schedule. You may also write to the address on the letterhead. That’s all for now.
